Attention Boston-area readers! February vacation activity alert! (For my readers in other parts of the country: Yes, kids in New England get a week off school in February AND in April. How crazy is that?)
Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream is coming to the TD Garden over February vacation week, February 17-26, 2012. I know it’s not easy coming up with fun things for the kids to do around here in the middle of winter, so this is definitely an event to mark on the calendar!
Dare to Dream is one of the most adventurous shows Disney has ever done, and completely unlike anything they’ve ever done before. It features the classic story of Cinderella & Prince Charming that you know from your childhood, the modern, jazzy New Orleans tale of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen, and the action-packed tale of Disney’s newest heroes, Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled…. who literally fly above the ice in pursuit of their dreams. I must admit that I was a little skeptical when my family went to see Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 during last year’s February break – but ended up loving it! Even my husband agreed that it was a really good show. I’m definitely looking forward to taking this kids to see this one. A fun family evening of entertainment is a bright spot to look forward to during the long, cold Boston winter!
